Le Vo Tuan - Motion in Gray - Paintings and Video

Le Vo Tuan grew up in Hue and graduated in Painting at Hue College of Arts in 2004. Since then working in Saigon/HCM, he is confronted with the hustle and bustle of a fast growing megapolis. He paints people on the move, in motion, and – to our surprise - in merely sombre colours.

Le Vo Tuan has recently chosen not to paint in bright colours in order not to easily attract and draw the viewer’s attention. His 16 large works (and his VideoArt) created in the past period mirror his doubts and skepticism by questioning the current developments in Vietnamese society. A truly contemporary artist.
