Bill Nguyen (Nguyễn Hoàng Long)
has returned to his hometown of Hanoi after living and studying art in England for several years.
He is applying his surprisingly discerning eye to the contemporary art scene here in Vietnam, and Hanoi Grapevine is delighted to be able to offer his writings here, adding his voice to that of our popular, mysterious and sometimes slightly controversial KVT. Welcome, Bill!

I dont think there was very much that was controversial about the somewhat over-enthusiastic KVT. But perhaps now, finally, there will be.
Long has shown he is a deliberate and clear observer. He arrives at a great time. Hanoi will be a better place for him.
