Don’t forget the official screening of Noise and Resistance – a documentary about European DIY Punk scene. Noise and Resistance (dir – Francesca Araiza Andrande & Julia Ostertag) takes you straight to that underground. It is a film about DIY Punk, though it concerns itself not with a shallow definition of what Punk music is (it actually appears in various forms in the film: from British sludge metal to Russian underground hip-hop); rather, the film is a detailed exploration of the Punk spirit, of what it means to break free from the mainstream and to live in alternative ways.
