I think this would be better translated as ‘I am 14 and deserve to be hated’. Subtle distinction but changes the sense of the title completely.
Thank you for your comment. I have been thinking a lot about the translation of the title of this book. But if I could change it again, I would translated it as ‘I am a despicable 14 year old person’. What do you think?
