Can you believe that Hanoi Grapevine has been around for half a decade?! And this year, for the first time in the last 5 years, we’re gonna celebrate our anniversary with live music, film screenings, food and drinks! Everyone is welcome! So just save the date and come down to HRC to drink a toast with us!

Since 2007, Grapevine has been providing reliable information about arts and culture events in Hanoi, HCMC and the rest of Vietnam, all in both Vietnamese and English.

And that’s not all – we also offer arts and culture lovers an attractive calendar, addresses list and links to artist web sites.

Our readers enjoy commentary by people passionate about the subjects they write about, whether it’s classical music performances, art exhibitions or jazz concerts.

Artists find useful info about local and international opportunities such as grants, residencies and calls for entry.

And now we are celebrating our 5th birthday on Friday Nov 09, from 6pm.

Join us for a fun evening at HRC, and experience a unique music line-up with Good Graeff on acoustic pop folk; Zamina on African reggae; Nu Voltage on nu metal and post-rock; Vu Nhat Tan and Dao Anh Khanh on experimental, sound art and electronic; Hanoi Sessions on rap hip-hop; Tri Minh, Dirty Fingrz, Sebastien Gesell on DJ sets; and a lot of art videos and music films from The Onion Cellar, Doclab and Future Shorts!

Food and drink will also be available for purchase.

Entrance is by voluntary donation.
