From the organizer:
The images depict young Vietnamese women grappling with cultural conflicts. Each work implies the conflicts using visual fantasies that combine abstraction with figurative metaphors. This exhibit is a prelude to international exhibits coming to Malaysia and Vietnam in 2013.
