Hanoi Sound stuff music festival 2009
Green music
The first cultural, artistic exchange and electronic music performance program held in Vietnam in 2008 marked a big success while drawing a number of Vietnamese and international artists’ participation. The program was to aim at cultural and artistic exchange between the artists all over the world and the domestic audience with a love of music, contributed to heightening the knowledge of electronic music and creating a healthy, helpful playground amongst the students. Festival this year 2009 will have a more thorough content preparation, with the presence of a variety of artists coming from Germany, Austria, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Holland, Denmark, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and also the famous names from Vietnam such as Meritorious Artist Thanh Lam, Composer Quoc Trung, Vu Nhat Tan, Tri Minh. Especially, there will be a performance of Nguyen Thi Giang. The foci of the program are still the matters of cultural exploration and exchange, environment protection message conveyance, introduction of electronic music performance. The festival will be held on March 28-29, 2009 at the Van Ho gallery, starting at 14h-16h with the cultural and music exchange program. From 18h-23h will be the electronic music performances by the artists. Besides, the program plans to have some exchange activities with students and a concert at Hanoi Conservatory (as Hanoi Conservatory programmed).
