From Joma:
Joma Bakery Café is honored to present an interactive art exhibit by Hagar, a local NGO aiding Vietnamese women who have suffered from violence, abuse and exploitation.

Joma cares about people and planet, supporting a variety of causes initiated by both locals and expatriates to build up local communities. The decision to expand the bakery café from Laos into Vietnam came through an enterprise partnership with Hagar, an international organization aiding victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and trafficking.

Hagar is committed to the recovery, empowerment and community reintegration of women and children who have survived human rights abuse in Afghanistan, Cambodia and Vietnam. Through partnerships with technical schools, businesses and enterprise partners like Joma, women who come to Hagar become resilient, financially independent and filled with hope.

Part of Hagar’s restoration process involves a series of art therapy that allows the women to explore and journey together towards healing. Joma is proud to sponsor an interactive art exhibit that allows the viewer to experience a piece of that journey with them.

Live music and refreshments will be provided.
