Come to join a free workshop on Indian music that will help you understand more about the Indian music and its usage.

India is full of cultures and traditions which is reflected in Indian Music. There are two types of Indian Classical Music: South Indian Carnatic and North Indian Hindustani. Indian musical instruments can be broadly classified into four categories: Chordophones (string instruments), Aerophones (wind instruments), Membranophones (Drums) and Idiophones (non-drum percussion instruments).

The workshop is open to all above 18 years of age. Children less than 18 years of age may attend if accompanied by a guardian. Those interested may register online through this link or directly come to the Indian Cultural Centre, 63 Tran Hung Dao street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi from 0930hrs to 1730hrs (Monday to Friday).
