From TPD:

During its 100 years of development, the world’s cinema has seen giant leaps that at time surpass human’s imagination. Throughout this process, numerous cinematic styles, genres and astonishing techniques were invented and introduced to the world.

Some cinema works are purely for entertainment, some are pioneering – artistically and technically innovative, some cause headaches, literally and figuratively.

These films are, more often than not, not for entertainment because of its complex details, with layers upon layers of messages and meanings that you could not understand it after one viewing, and some ideas were even ahead of their time. Time travel, magic, dreams, surrealism, existentialism… are the themes, subjects and genres that attracts filmmakers.

In the next one month, Cinema Space will screen a number of these ‘mind-bending’ films every Friday. Join us!
