Le Thai To walking street (from Hang Trong intersection to Bao Khanh intersection)

From the organizers:

Right after a seminar between French, German and Vietnamese experts on what children can learn while playing, THINK PLAYGROUNDS and partners continue to organize a Loose-parts Play for parents and children to experience an unorthodox playground, which is completely different from any other activity ever held in Hanoi. If in last May Loose-parts Play event at Ly Thai To park allow children to become little ‘wooden soldier’ with the tools and materials provided, then in this event, interaction with familiar objects in daily life is considered the foundation to shape future artists.

With random objects placed within the playground, the children are encouraged to choose a variety of materials of their choice, allow more than ever freedom in their activities than when guided. Playing with a random, wide range of objects stimulate creativity and imagination than with ready-made toys. Not only that, Loose-parts Play is considered a community activity when children get together to discover and find out new purposes for these objects.

THINK PLAYGROUNDS and partners would like to invite all parents and children to join us in this event. The event is supported by the Franco-German Cultural Fund, Goethe Institute in Hanoi, L’Espace – French Cultural Center in Hanoi, Ford Vietnam and other sponsors & partners.
