West Lake Run: Run for the Reading Culture
Starting time: Sun 09 Sep 2018, 6.30 am
Gather point: Boat Racing Club Hanoi, 292 Lac Long Quan (200m in from Ve Ho street), Hanoi
From the organizers:
Break your own limit, connect with one another and conquer the ~15km around West Lake. We will wait for you at the finish line regardless of your arrival time. Come and connect!
Apart from helping people to challenge themselves, with this September run, we the organizers hope to bring a bigger meaning to our action, which is encourage and support the reading culture in our community.
We hope to receive your donation to the Reading culture fund by these following methods:
1. Cash donation: Each participant is invited to contribute 30,000vnd to the Reading culture fund (at door or through bank transfer. Account number: 12110000313073, account holder: Nguyen Van An, BIDV at Hai Ba Trung branch.
2. Book donation: You can directly donate old/new books to the Reading culture fund at the day of the event or in advance at: Office of the Book and Action Project (Du an Sach va Hanh dong) – Room 503, Apartment building 129, 51 Quan Nhan, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.

3. Invite your friends to join the event
All cash and book donations received will be made public and contributed to the READING CULTURE FUND to give out books to secondary and high school students.
Note: You should arrive 15 minutes earlier than starting time to warm up to avoid injuries so we can start on time. Latecomers can follow after. We will run around the lake clockwise.
*** The first male and female participant to finish the run will receive prizes from the organizers.
The current record for a run around West Lake is 60 minutes. We are waiting for you to create a new record.
