Join us to launch Fashion Revolution Vietnam through the exhibition “Who Made My Clothes?” in collaboration with the Vietnamese Women’s Museum, British Council and the Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents (TPD). This exhibition is the first large scale event in Vietnam as part of the global Fashion Revolution movement. Find out more here.

This interactive exhibition celebrates local makers and designers who are revolutionizing the fashion industry in Vietnam, and will provide tips and tools on how we can all help to make our wardrobes empower rather than exploit.

Exhibition designed and curated by Ellen Downes and Ellie Shipman with support from the Fashion Revolution team.

Have you ever wondered who made your clothes, how much they’re paid, and what their lives are like?

Our clothes go on a long journey before they hit shop shelves, passing through the hands of cotton farmers, spinners, weavers, dyers, sewers and others. Approximately 75 million people work to make our clothes, 80% are women between the ages of 18 and 35.

The majority of people who make clothes for the global market live in poverty, unable to afford life’s basic necessities. Many are subject to exploitation: verbal and physical abuse, unsafe and dirty working conditions, and very little pay.

We believe transparency is the first step to transforming the industry. And it starts with one simple question: Who Made My Clothes?
