The Hanoi Museum proudly presents “Bui Xuan Phai and Hanoi”, an exhibition of paintings by the late Vietnamese painter Bui Xuan Phai.

This is the first showcase of Bui Xuan Phai’s painting in Vietnam to use the 3D mapping technique and multimedia, including a light and sound system, to create an impressive exhibition space full of colors.

Some 100 paintings by the late artist will be on show, characterized by the three following themes:
– “Phai’s streets”
– “Phai’s chèo” (chèo is a traditional form of Vietnam’s musical theatre)
– “Phai and friends”

The interactive exhibition will provide audiences with a new visual and auditory experience and help them get a better understanding of Bui Xuan Phai’s work.
