Since the days of Tran Anh Hung and Tony Bui, Vietnamese films have seen collaborations with several directors, producers, actors in and outside of the country, especially filmmakers from the overseas Vietnamese community, such as Nguyễn Võ Nghiêm Minh, Kathy Nguyen, Linh Dan Pham, Victor Vu, Charlie Nguyen, Stephen Gauger, Johnny Trí Nguyễn.

Prof. Lan Duong (University of California, Riverside) will speak about former filmmaking process and such new collaborations, with the participation of directors Đặong Nhật Minh, Phan Đăng Di, Bùi Thạc Chuyên, giáo sư Việt Nguyễn (University of Southern California), nhà sản xuất Jenni Trang Lê, v.v.

The discussion will be translated into English and Vietnamese.
