Solo Performance by Female Artist Lai Dieu Ha

Lai Dieu Ha is one of a very small number of female performance artists in Vietnam. Her work often pushes the limits of her body, exploring issues of personal privacy, and female identity. Through her actions in front of an audience, she is developing her own language to cross the barriers of social prejudice and pressure. This performance at Nhasan Studio is a new experiment, and experience for Lai Dieu Ha. In an effort to not “frame” the meanings of the acts, the work has no title.

This is the final event of the “EMERGING ARTIST PROGRAM 2010” which has received the generous funding from the Culture Development and Exchange Foundation of the Danish Embassy in Hanoi (CDEF).
