(5-19 July, Luxembourg) organised by the Asia-Europe Foundation in association with Casino Luxembourg – Forum d’art contemporain and the University of Luxembourg.
Application Deadline: 15 April 2009
The 7th Asia-Europe Art Camp aims to encourage artistic exchanges between Asian and European visual arts professionals at theoretical, artistic and personal levels. This year’s Camp will bring together a core group 9 European and 9 Asian visual artists – selected through an Open Call for applications – in Luxembourg from 5 to 19 July 2009 in its first phase and work towards further phases in Shanghai in 2010.
The Camp – which has for its theme this year “Moved, Mutated and Disturbed Identities” – is open to young visual artists (25-35 years) from ASEM (Asia-Europe Meeting) countries (which includes Vietnam) with Master’s degrees in the Visual Arts.
The 7th Asia-Europe Art Camp is a programme of the Asia-Europe Foundation. The Asia-Europe Foundation works to promote mutual understanding, deeper engagement and continuing collaboration among the people of Asia and Europe through greater intellectual, cultural, and people-to-people exchanges between the two regions.
