Dây (= ‘Wire’) is a night for writers to share their work in a relaxed and intimate café environment. The inaugural event is a tale of two cities – Hanoi and London, and features contributions from two prose writers and three poets, reading in both Vietnamese and English.

Writers are:
Lê Kim Giao (born 1953) – Member of Vietnam writer Association (Hội Nhà văn Việt Nam). Published works include: Dịu dàng – Nhà xuất bản Văn học (2003); Thi kỳ song tuyệt – Nhà xuất bản Hội Nhà Văn (2008)
Bùi Việt Mỹ (born 1955). Published works include: Vườn Nắng (1992), Giữa hai chiều thời gian (2006). He won the Người Hà nội Poetry Competition in 2007.
Alex Sheal won the novella category of the 2008 New Writer prize for Lost In Kullu.
Phạm Thị Quỳnh Phương (born 1987) is a member of Hội văn học nghệ thuật Ninh Bình. She now attends Trường viết văn Nguyễn Du and has published her poems in Người Hà Nội and Tạp chí Thế giới mới amongst other periodicals.
Stuart Glass (born 1969) was a recipient of an Arts Council of England Literary Award in 2006. His short story Minceman appeared in the anthology Paper, Scissors, Stone (2003)
Doors open at 7pm, then the five invited writers will read in three sets between 8pm-10pm, with incidental music in between. Admission is free.
