Writing competition: Call for Submissions

In the hope of further enhancing and enriching the cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Japan, the Shoyo Club and the Japan Foundation are hosting a writing competition on Japan and its culture. The competition is opened to Vietnamese bachelor and master students; and researchers who are currently conducting investigations on the Japanese culture.

To take part, please send a 4,000 – 8,000 words long essay in Japanese, either on Japan or its culture, to:

The winners of the competition will have a chance to attend a 2 month course at the Japanese language and culture center ‘Ishikawa’ in Japan.
