Topical Discussion on Director Pedro Almodóvar

This weekend TPD will organize a film screening Talk to her and a topical discussion on director Pedro Almodovar, who has been known as the best director, if not the most famous figure in contemporary Spanish cinema.

Director of colorful Volver, dramatic All About my Mother and many other wonderful movies, Almodovar has successfully combined pop culture, sex, violence, religion and music into his movies, brought about a fresh, exciting and somehow contentious view on his country. His movies have a deep effect on his audience not only in his home country but all over the world, on their view about life in the sunny and windy Iberia.

The event is for study & research purpose and non-benificial.

The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents was established with the purposes of designing and implementing programs to assist and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnamese cinema.
