#Hanoi1001 is a group of proud Hanoians made up of musicians, music lovers, artists, designers and entrepreneurs. You are invited to a three-day festival weekender to celebrate a new millennium.

On Friday 22 Oct from 8 pm, Green Mango gives a debut to the Rockoke Band and a format that’s looks set to be huge in Hanoi. It’s karaoke but not as we know it.

Rock not pop. A live band not tape. In public not in a private room. This could be huge.

Following are the Brass Monkies – a Hanoian band building a loyal following. They played at the recent ACCV event at the Green Mango – this time they’re headlining.

The event launches a three-day Hanoi music weekender with ticket receipts going to victims of flooding in Central Vietnam.
