You are invited to two sessions of ‘Open Academy’, featuring art presentation and video screening by two Berlin-based artists – Maria Vedder and Nazaket Ekici. Check out the schedule below.

Maria Vedder will screen a selection of her video works

Nazaket Ekici will present photographic and video documentation of her performance art
Sun 21 Nov 2010, 5 pm
Maria Vedder is a media-based artist and Professor at Universität der Künste Berlin with a background in photography, theater, film and television studies. She lives and works in Berlin.
Nazaket Ekici is a performance artist, of Turkish origin, who has lived and worked in Berlin since the age of three. Exploring the relationship between the audience and her own body, Nazaket’s work questions constructions of identity and gender.
Free admission with translation provided.
