From Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam:
The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam proudly organizes workshops and an exhibition on Furoshiki – Wrapping Cloth in Japanese Style. Two Japanese experts, Ms. Handa Hiroki and Ms. Yamamoto Yoko, members of the Furoshiki Study Group, will introduce one of Japanese unique culture on daily use through the workshops.

Exhibition on Furoshiki will also be held to show Furoshiki samples and objects from Japan and Furoshiki designs by Vietnamese students which was awarded in the 2nd International Furoshiki Design Contest in Japan.

All workshops and exhibition are opened to public for free.
However, please register via phone for workshops (maximum 100 people/workshop). All students are to register with their teachers.

Language: Japanese with Vietnamese interpretation.

We hope that you will visit the exhibition and participate in the workshops for Furoshiki to understand more about its practical usage. With the Furoshiki, you can wrap presents with all your heart and surprise your friends, family and beloved one.
