Ari Roland Quartet, a group of four New York-based jazz musicians, will come to Vietnam for a free performances in the Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
In HCMC, saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan, singer Kim Luyen and artist Anh Tan will join the event. The Ari Roland band will also have an exchange with students at the Information Resource Center of the U.S. Consulate and give a talk along with Vietnamese jazz musicians at the Saturday Café. Later they will visit blind children at the Nhat Hong Center in Thu Duc District.

Free tickets are available at the Information Resource Center of the U.S. Consulate – 8th Floor of Diamond Plaza, 34 Le Duan Blvd., District 1.
For the event in Hanoi, Vietnamese Jazz icon Quyen Van Minh will also perform along with the Jazz Quartet.

The Ari Roland Jazz Quartet, including Ari Roland (double bass), Chris Byars (tenor saxophone), Zaid
Nasser (alto saxophone) and Keith Balla (drums) has been performing together for two decades in
New York City, as well as in numerous international tours. They also participated in many of the U.S.
Department State’s cultural exchange programs and recorded extensively for Smalls Records.
