Artist Talk and Demonstration with Khai Doan

The Goethe-Institut Hanoi invites you to personally experience the work of Khai Doan. After the successful opening of the exhibition last Friday at the Goethe-Institut Hanoi, Khai Doan takes time this Saturday to meet with art lovers and all who are interested to answer questions about his exhibition “Dipolar” and to give some insight into his work. In addition to personally introducing individual works, during the artists’ talk the artist Khai Doan will demonstrate the working process on his paintings – all created with the Vietnamese lacquer technique “Son Mai”. The painting “Lacquering and Sanding” on which Khai Doan has worked since 2005, will be completed in the course of this demonstration on Saturday in the hall of the Goethe-Institut.
