In celebration of the upcoming American Independence Day holiday, the U.S. Embassy Hanoi invites you to take part in an American Center Photo Contest “What America Means to You.”
Submit up to two original photos that represent what the United States means to you and you could win an Apple iPod Touch, a Digital Photo Frame, or a Flickr Pro account membership!
The American Center encourages photos not only from people who have traveled to the U.S., but also images and icons from anywhere that represent American ideals and values. Winning submissions will be determined by a review panel and the number of “likes” received on the American Center Facebook page. The American Center Facebook community will be invited to vote for the winners beginning the week of June 13, 2011. “Friends” of the American Center Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/achanoi.usembassy may access the Contest photo album and click “like” to cast their votes until 11:59 PM Hanoi time on June 24, 2011. The three photographs that have received the most “likes” at the close of voting period will be the winners.
