HCMC – Screening of 2 Short Films

From Zerostation:
Hanoi -based painter, and independent film maker Doan Hoang Kien will screen two of his recent short films: “The garden” (2010), and “Night Station” (2011) at ZeroStation in which, “The Garden” is participating film to 57th International Kurzfilmtage Obrhausen
For two these films, if the first one, “The Garden” (duration: 11 minutes 30 seconds), is a sort of nostalgic looking back of artist to his own past, the second one, “Night Station” ( duration: 09 minutes 07 seconds)is a slice of the contemporary life which is mirrored through the life and work at a small train station in Hanoi.
Both films are made English subtitles
After the screening there will be a discussion section with the filmmaker.
