You are invited to the film screening titled “Dans les Cordes” (“The Women boxers) of director Magaly Richard-Serrano, starred by PRichard Anconina, Maria de Medeiros, Louise Szpindel.
Le Nouvel Observateur newspaper stated:
“The portrait of the two boxers is the perfect depiction of a family.”
Synopsis: Joseph is the manager of a boxer club in France where he trains his daughter and his niece from the very young age. In the finaly of the French Boxer Champion, the success of one is the failure of another and it would unbalance the relationship of the three. Angie and Sandra who used to be so close like two sisters now become each other opponent. This is the competition beyond the ring.
Language: French with Vietnamese subtitles.
