Celebration of Douglas Jardine

It is a month since Douglas Jardine, Educator, Historian, Photographer and lover of Vietnam, suddenly died from a heart attack at the age of 49. Many of his friends did not have the chance to say farewell so a group of his acquaintances have organized a celebration of his life in Hanoi.

This will take place next Monday, November 7, from 6 to 8pm at the Cinematheque. For more information, see below:

It will be a simple affair and will allow Douglas’ friends to share memories about him.

Some of his excellent panoramic photographs of Long Bien Bridge will be for sale as well as a selection of smaller black and white prints of Hanoi and Sapa.

Food and drink will be for sale at the Cinematheque café.
