Music Night The Lost Souls Club
Sun 13 Nov 2011, 8 – 11 pm
Hanoi Rock City
From Hanoi Rock City:
The Lost Souls Club return to Hanoi Rock City in November, joined by special guests Gỗ Lim (AKA Golem) and Good Mouth Feel. 2011 Winners of Exposure Music Awards (EMA) in the category of Best Alternative Act, The Lost Souls Club have won over critics and audiences worldwide. Their music is rock as it should be: dark, sexy, and energised with a psychedelic twist.
Reverb, fuzz and hooks delivered with passion and energy puts The Lost Souls Club sound wise alongside bands like The White Stripes, The Raveonettes, BRMC, Placebo, The Dead Weather, The Big Pink and The Jesus and Mary Chain.
Just under a year old like Hanoi Rock City itself, The Lost Souls Club have hit 2011 running. Off the back of Inter City Music Festival in Beijing, The Lost Souls Club were booked to headline a tour of Asia, sponsored by Tiger Beer. This was a sell-out tour wowing crowds across the Mekong Delta in Phnom Penh, Ho Chi Minh City & Hanoi. March saw them off to Toronto, to perform at The Canadian Music Fest 2011, and then, as a result of their performance at the One Movement Festival 2010 in Perth, they will be touring Singapore, Vietnam and Australia in November this year.
KERRANG
“Their dark, pulsing rock swirls with a sinister malice that sets the tone perfectly…”
UBER ROCK
“This four piece certainly defy musical pigeonholing and describe themselves as a gathering of deviants, delinquents and deadbeats. The Lost Souls Club maybe a musical home for the heartbroken and dreamers, but on this showing I think they’ll very soon need to start booking larger venues in which to hold their meetings, as they are about to explode.
So are The Lost Souls Club the best band of my Hard Rock Hell weekend that weren’t even playing at the festival? Yeah….most definitely”
Tickets
Ticket price: 100 000 VND at door.
