KVT sees the best of the best of the best of the best…and so should YOU

It is very rare for me to go into super overdrive RAVE mode about an ART exhibition but the same artist has done the hat trick (3 times) in the past four years and, in Hanoi, its only happened nine times since 2000.

Softly spoken Bopha Xorgia – Le Huy Hoang left me totally speechless with his totally brilliant ‘Scarf‘ at Nha San Duc (a stunning concoction of coffee grounds and palm sugar.)

He left me thoroughly overwhelmed with the beauty of ‘Rain‘ at the same venue…and it still rates amongst the best art things I’ve seen anywhere in the world.

And now at Goethe he has done it all over again with a ‘Wall’ that, several hours later, after a first experience with it, leaves me gasping in total admiration about a piece of art that is in the A plus plus plus plus league.

I’ll write at length about it later in the week after I’ve spent more time surrounded by its awe and wonder (I’m still too speechless to come up with enough suitable adjectives!).

If you like art….and even if you’re luke warm…Hoang’s wall is un-missible and I defy you not to be impressed.

I want the chance to spend an hour or two alone with it to let it tell me stories. Many of you will feel the same.

THAT SU TUYET VOI many times over!

The people at Goethe and at the Danish Embassy must be so thrilled to be an integral part of it all.
