You are invited to the meeting with writer Le Minh Khue on the launch of her new short story book “Tropical Monsoon and Other Stories” and 3 other writers: Nguyen Thi Minh Thai, Ta Duy Anh and Pham Xuan Nguyen.
Le Minh Khue was born on 6th December 1949 in Thanh Hoa. She fought in the war against American troops from 1965 to 1969. From 1969 to 1975, she was a war journalist. From 1975 to 2005, she is an editor at the Writer Association Publishing House.
Summary of the short story book Tropical Monsoon and other Stories: The writer wants readers to see themselves in the harsh reality. Romance and something like the primitive nature of the people is still preserved. The war is not the main theme of the whole book but it makes the stories more exciting.
