The Munich Chamber Choir, under the direction of Philipp Amelung, is recognized as one of the best choirs in Germany. All members are professional singers, who perform regularly as soloists in Germany and abroad. Besides the major choral-symphonic works by Bach, Händel, Mozart, Beethoven or Brahms the Munich Chamber Choir repeatedly performs works of contemporary composers or old masters. With this special repertoire the Munich Chamber Choir is regarded as a unique ambassador for German choral music in international concert halls.The Munich Chamber Choir is playing several concerts in Vietnam. A lecture by Philipp Amelung and a workshop held by Munich Chamber Choir members at the Vietnam National Academy of Music complement the concert program.

The musical journey leads from Munich with Orlando di Lasso, across Leipzig with Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn and Robert Schumann through to the Rhineland with Heinrich Kaminski. With this journey through more than 500 years of musical history, the Munich Chamber Choir presents some jewels of the greatest composers of the German choral tradition.

In celebration of Europe Day, the EU-Delegation and the Goethe-Institut invite to a concert: Munich Chamber Choir is going to perform two master works by Ludwig van Beethoven together with the choir and orchestra of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet and with singers of the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
