You are invited to the exhibition and seminar on the occasion of “A father’s day” book launch by Nguyen Nhat Anh and Thai My Phuong.
A father’s day is a work with poetry and drawings. The drawings are by artist Thai My Phuong and poetry are by translator Nguyen Nhat Anh. Each picture comes a stanza of four lines that recounted what a busy father encountered in a normal day.Appeal of this book comes from meticulous drawings with particularly strange and vivid colors accompanied by jolly poems which are not only a story of the father but also the very true reflection of cultural, social events that occur every day.

Artist Thai My Phuong
Thai My Phuong, graduated from HCMC University of Architecture, an artist specializing in painting for children, known through many works: The legend of watermelon, Treasure sun, Ai and Ky in the land of the invisible numbers. In addition, she also collaborates with many well-known magazines in Vietnam for teenagers such as Hoa Hoc Tro, Thien Than Nho. She is currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh city.
Translator Nguyen Nhat Anh
In addition to many renown translation works such as Petit Nicolas, Captain underpants, Little Prince Nguyen Nhat Anh also participates in compiling and writing many other interesting works, in which A father’s day is one.
