In Dialogue with Đình art exhibition directly examines Đình heritage in the Tonkin Delta. The theme of the exhibit is open, and it gives artists a chance to portray the value of the village community center and examine the role of cultural heritage in contemporary society.

Each contribution is the artist’s reflection upon the Đình heritage. With different forms of art, the exhibit poses critical questions that relate to village heritage. Themes such as the degradation of heritage, the need to protect heritage, and reverence for the beauty of cultural heritage in contemporary life are all represented in this exhibit. Artworks reflecting these views will create positive influences and contribute to the development of the community. Parallel to the exhibition, many other activities have been organized such as seminar, art and heritage education, and publication, etc. All of these factors contribute to the success of the project Researching, Collecting, Promoting and Developing the Unique Value of Cultural Heritage in the Northern Delta in Vietnam of Vietnam University of Fine Art.
