Súp Video Soup, Vol. 1: Performance Video

This is the first series of talks/workshops/screenings/exhibitions focusing on the current works and experiments by video makers in Hanoi and beyond, organized by Hanoi Doclab. Potentially, we will organize this event every six months. In this series, we’re particularly interested in performance-based video works.

The program consists of:

**daily projections of short video experiments by young filmmakers/artists under the themes of “Self Portraits”, “The Way Things Are”, and “Performance Video Performance”
11. to 16.01.2014, 1pm to 7pm

**chance photography (with Nguyen Trinh Thi)
11.01, 2pm: workshop
12. to 18.01: works to be conducted by participants
19.01: works to be shown

**stop-motion workshop (with Lolo Zazar)
17. and 18.01, 2pm to 5pm

**presentation on performance-based video (with Appendix Group and Nguyen Trinh Thi)
19.01, 3pm

**screenings: Artist Film International, OK Video Festival Jakarta, and new local experimental films
17, 18, and 19.01, 6:30pm
