Lovin’ Hanoi English Contest
S*Link Center and Grapevine are pleased to announce the English contest “Lovin’ Hanoi” to all lovers and learners of the English language in Hanoi.
Deadline of writing submissions: 28 Feb 2014
Final speaking contest: TBC
This English contest is made for those who have interest in writing, photography as well as traveling in Vietnam. It is an opportunity to learn about Hanoi culture and promote Hanoi tourism to international as well as domestic visitors.
Requirements:
Application is open to all Vietnamese citizens between the age of 15 and 30 who are living, working or studying in Hanoi.
Subject: “I love Hanoi”.
Through your piece of writing, please introduce your favorite thing about Hanoi to introduce to tourists visiting the capital.
Criteria :
Your essay must be 300-500 words, written in English with the subject “I love Hanoi”, in Word format, font Times New Roman, font size 13, line spacing 1.5, and 01 descriptive photo.
Prizes:
6 finalists whose writings are picked by our judges and the public will be divided into 3 teams in the final round to compete for these following awards:
– 01 First Prize: Certificate + 2 million VND in cash + 02 Full Scholarships of an IELTS course at S*Link + 02 Concert tickets at the Opera House. Total value: 21,500,000 VND
– 01 Second Prize: Certificate + 1 million VND in cash + 02 Half Scholarships of an IELTS course at S*Link + 02 Concert tickets at L’Espace. Total value: 10,600,000 VND
– 01 Third Prize: Certificate + 500,000 VND in cash + 02 Vouchers each valued at 2,000,000VND for courses at S*Link + 02 tickets to Hanoi Sound Stuff Festival in April. Total value: 4,600,000 VND
