Korean textile exhibition “Seon_Beyond Bojaggi”

You are invited to the exhibition titled “Seon_Beyond Bojaggi” with the participation of Korean textile artist Lee Sung Soon.

The exhibition will showcase approximately 50 modern textile works, using coarse and yarn fabric, following the popular concept that the artist has brought to Bojaggi art, in which she makes installation works, then frame and exhibit them.

The concept is originated from the word “seon” (善 – goodness). The artist collects numerous threads to weave a cloth which becomes an amazing artwork taking the audience into a new space right within the existing one. In the world of those endless linked lines, the artist also wants to tell a story about Zen (“seon” – 禪 – Zen).
