Let’s enjoy Autumn with this huge line up to celebrate the live music scene in Hanoi!

Line up: a WHOOPING 7 ACTS of Hi-jinks/Stealing Head/Taylor Moore’s band/Super Mecha sasquatch/Atinybit/La-nai Gabriel/Phương Đặng

:: HI-JINKS

They play mostly original material as well as a selection of crowd pleasing covers from the likes of Stevie wonder/ Paul Simon/ Beatles etc amongst others. With an emphasis on high octane dance funk their live shows aim to get people wriggling on the dance floor, while their studio material spans the whole gamut of human emotional expression: from introspection yearning and yielding to raw base instinctual sexual desire!

HI Jinks are about to release a 7 song cd called Stimulus Package. Free download of the music will soon be available on their website, which is currently under construction.

:: STEALING HEAD

From the spirit of open mic night, this superband was created to be the next talk of the music scene in town. We don’t want to give out spoiler yet, but they sounded amazing on their first open mic appearance !

:: TAYLOR MOORE’S BAND

Taylor Moore’s band, a project that was formed by Taylor, an amazing guitarist with his raspy vocal that would remind you of Louis Armstrong. Their blues jamming is top notch, period ! Don’t miss out on them !!

:: SUPER MECHA SASQUATCH

With the addition of Lawrence and Ella, Mecha Sasquatch became Super Mecha Sasquatch, and their sound just got thicker and thicker with more harmony and more instruments. Come and check out this super awesome folksy group, u will not be disappointed!

:: LA-NAI GABRIEL

A completely new talent that’s just arrived in Hanoi not long ago. She’s gonna perform for you in the garden with the keys and her amazing voice and trust us when we say “she’s gonna blow you away”, ask the people who she blew away last open mic !

:: ATINYBIT

a band that’s formed to pretty much have as much fun on stage as possible by playing Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys, Radio Moscow, Chet Faker etc… so have fun with them !

:: PHƯƠNG ĐẶNG

“I am from Hanoi, Vietnam. I sing and play a little bit of piano to accompany myself. I have no formal training in piano or vocals. I do it as a hobby, and sing in public every once in a while. I write songs sometimes so I could sing what I really feel. I wouldn’t call myself a songwriter or a musician. what music do i play? im not so sure. you could call it indie pop if you like”
