For decades the cooler summer weather of Sapa has captivated many artists to behold the magnificent mountains from June until Autumn, during when they turn golden yellow just before rice crop. During the Sapa Festival of Art, these artists will open their private studios for visitors and there will be an exhibition of paintings at Sapa Museum for the festival month. This is a great opportunity to meet the artists, ask them about their works and make special bargains.
A limited edition set of prints and postcards will be available for sale at Sapa Tourist centre during the Sapa Festival of Art. All proceeds from the sale of these items will go to the support for impoverished schools.
