You are invited to the program “Tâm tình Ví, Giặm” with the participation of artists from Nghệ region’s UNESCO folk singing heritage. The audience will have chance to deeply understand and experience the beauty of Vi – Giam through the fervid melody and lyric. It is a way to conserve, restore and promote the value of traditional music in modern society.

Nghe Tinh Vi-Giam, a kind of folk performing arts, play an important role in the cultural life of Central people in Nghe An and Ha Tinh province. Vi-Giam folk singing was officially recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity at the 9th session of its Inter-governmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in Paris on November 27, 2014.
