Part II: Classic Ballet “Les Sylphides”

Ballet “Les Sylphides”, also known as “Chopiniana” because the music was composed by Frederic Chopin, premiere in 1907. The ballet continues to be developed, but retained its essence as a one act ballet, non-specific content that focuses on factors that evoke the vitality of romanticism.

  1. “Les Sylphides” (a one act ballet) is not the same as “La Sylphide” (a two acts ballet). The video, therefore, shows a wrong ballet.
