This beautifully and sentimentally hand-drawn animation is a lively song about the life of a unique fictional jungle tribe.
Film synopsis:
Released in France since 2008, “Mia and tribal Migou” remains now as one of the most famous animation by director Jacques-Resmy. The 91-minutes film is made up of more than 500,000 hand-drawn frames that not only compel audiences because they are colorful, cinematic but also have sentimental affection. The feature tells an exciting the plot and transfers meaningful message. The film awakens audiences to a dark future when human beings destroy the ecological system. Director Jacques-Resmy won Best Animated Film 2009 at the European Film Awards thanks to this work.
