Come join the screening series “Re-Think Urbanity” at Heritage Space.
This series features documentaries about urbanism, suburbia, and issues that cities and urban areas around the globe are facing. It aims at showing the complex world behind urban planning, pinpointing the different contributors to the urban change: real estate developers, politicians, architects, planners, advocators and, last but not least, citizens. We will use movies to explore different aspects of urban experiences all around the world, treating different themes: technology, bureaucracy, design, economic development and social inequalities, development, public space, urban governance, housing, displacement, civic engagement, environmental policies suburbanization and more. The series presents not only documentaries but also experimental movies, giving a different perspective about the world we live in.
On Sunday, each screening of the documentary/movie will be complemented by a Q&A session with urban experts, architects, urban planners on the themes that have been addressed in the movies. (Language: English – Vietnamese)
Movies are shown in original language with English subtitles.
