You do NOT have to be a professional artist, a musician, or dancer, etc. to join us. Within open structures and concepts brought by composer-performers Gregor Siedl and Cao Thanh Lan, we will improvise together using our personal means of expression, may it be your words, your voice, your laughter, your gestures, your facial expression, your movements, your favorite books, toys, instruments, objects, flash light, kitchen utensils etc. The result will be a symphony of human expressions with all its simplicity and complexity. This is the place and opportunity for you to express yourself, to try anything you want to try and to meet the like-minded people.

Duo Siedl/Cao:

Duo Siedl/Cao has been selected for the renowned program New Austrian Sound of Music 2018 – 2019 in the category Contemporary Music.

Coming from very different backgrounds, they have first found their common ground in free improvisation, using extended playing techniques coming from classical contemporary music. They gradually move towards more specific music projects where they experiment with the thin boundary between composition and improvisation.

Their works have been featured at international festivals and concert venues around the world, amongst others – festival Krieg Singen at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, FIME-Festival Internacional de Música Experimental in São Paulo, Ftarri Tokyo, Porgy & Bess Vienna, Festival Ankunft Neue Musik Berlin, Strom Festival Cologne, Frischzelle Festival for Intermedial Performance Cologne, 5th anniversary Festival at Quiet Cue Berlin, Artists in Residence Programm:Hotel Pupik (Scheifling), Institut Francais Hanoi etc.

They have been touring and giving workshops in Europe, Japan, Brazil, China, Taiwan, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Finland and Australia.
