A comedy and detective movie on an unemployed actor who plays the corpses in crime re-enactments suddenly becomes the trump card for the police in their toughest cases!
“Je fais le mort” is a simple but original concept: an unemployed actor who typically plays the corpse provides invaluable support to the police – who are stalled in their investigations. François Damiens gives a perfect performance in his role. Actress Geraldine Nakache who is well-known in France, also shows her talent here. The movie is inspired from a case on French newspapers and the director Jean-Paul Salomé inherits the best atmosphere from the classic Twin Peaks by David Lynch.
