You are invited to a conference which presents the works by French researchers on the Central Highlands in Vietnam with the participation of:
– Writer Nguyen Ngoc
– Professor Chu Hao from – Director of Knowledge Publishing House
– Andrew Hardy from École française d’Extrême-Orient (EFEO) in Hanoi

For nearly 100 years, several French scholars have meticulously conducted in-depth scientific studies on Vietnam’s Central Highlands, from missionaries and explorers who were the first Westerners to arrive in the region, to officials administration and professional researchers. They have left hundreds of valuable works about the Central Highlands, be it general studies of the region and its inhabitants or specialized studies on particular fields, issues and peoples. Some studies have been translated into Vietnamese, such as those of Henri Maître, Georges Condominas, Jacques Dournes, Anne de Hautecloque-Howe, J. Boulbet, Dourisboure…
