Summer has returned and so has Open Shorts.
A lot of young filmmakers across the country have responded to our call for short films to be screened during the program. After much consideration, the 4 following films have been selected for screening in June:
• Cá Dọn Bể (Suckermouthed Catfish) – directed by Chu Anh Nguyet
Nominee at the Hanoi International Film Festival 2016
• Đêm Giặt Ủi – directed by Tran Huu Thanh
Best Debut Short Film, Golden Lotus Award 2017
• Unseen Characters – directed by Vu Thien Phuong
From the Anti Anti Art filmmaking group
• The Sand and The Sea – directed by Le Quynh Anh, Mitpasa Sitthihukpanya, Che Tagyamon
Produced during a FLY (Film Leaders Incubator) filmmaking workshop in Indonesia in 2017
