From the organizer:
‘synescape: please touch’ is a multi-sensory interactive exhibition, in which visitors are invited to touch and interact with physical objects set up around the room.
Once again we will be hosted by Tình Đầu – a unique art space and cafe that has been open to our crazy ideas and experiments. If you had a chance to see our Synescape Live Performance with LinhHafornow there, you know what we mean!

Opening hours of the exhibition:

Saturday&Sunday 10am-12am, 2pm-4pm, 6pm-10pm
About the project:
The exhibition revolves around 10 objects, half of which are associated with the natural realm and the other half with the manmade world. Each element was selected by the artists to inspire a synesthetic experience, whereby visitors interactions with each object trigger specific sounds and images which make up the adjoining audio-visual installation.
At the centre of ‘synescape: please touch’ is an inquiry into the ways human senses interact with each other and influence each other in modern days. For centuries, vision has been privileged and considered our dominant sense and what we see is often considered reality, however part of the vision is the process of deriving meaning from what we see. In ‘synescape: please touch’ we deliberately manipulate that through sound and haptic (i.e. related to the sense of touch) interaction.
Please pay 100,000VND of entry fee (80,000VND for students) to help cover the costs of the project.
