KRAMER vs KRAMER
A Hollywood movie that could considered a family textbook for every member – husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, and children. A movie without twists and turns, without a sacrificing father to emphasize father love…
“KRAMER vs KRAMER” is a simple movie, a story of a family that could be seen anytime, anywhere on Earth. Ted is a typical man – who doesn’t care much about his wife or son – stumbling from one day to another… Until one day, Ted’s wife, Joanah leaves, leaving behind their 6-year-old son and Ted officially begins his life as a single father. Ted is absolutely not perfect as a father – he has to learn to be one from scratch.
For Billy, a sensitive boy whose mother just left him, has to learn to adapt with his father’s clumsiness. When the storm has passed, everything is starting to brighten up once again, the mother came back to fight for custody, and the legal and love battle officially begins between people who, just a moment ago, were family.
A down-to-earth script with a cast full of stars. Dustin Hoffman, Mery Streep, and the child prpdigy Justin Henry each won an Oscar for their remarkable roles. “KRAMER vs KRAMER” deserves to be in every list of Best family movies ever made.

THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS
An excellent movie by Wes Anderson about the Tenenbaums family with its awesome members. But no matter how awesome, how brilliant and how eccentric they are, the love of the children towards their father isn’t that much different. And vice versa, the father’s hope to connect with their children, blurring the inexplicable distance between… is very much there still.
The father in this movie is one who makes common and unforgivable mistakes. The children grow up and have their own eccentric, interesting life like every character made by Wes Anderson. Days past by and the growing distance between husband and wife, between father and children, and between the siblings themselves… turns the family into a raging storms of sorrow, disappointment and worry.
The Royal Tenenbaums is intriguing, funny and brilliant. If you haven’t liked Anderson, you’ll surely do after seeing this, and once you do, you can help but exclaim excitely.
The Royal Tenenbaums bears Wes Anderson’s trademark and the amazing thing is every scene is just pure picturesque!
Wes Anderson’s unusual, unique language has created a distinct, unforgettable style for the dark comedy The Royal Tenenbaums!.

EAT DRINK MAN WOMAN – a movie by Ang Lee
Set in Taiwan in the late 80s, Eat Drink Man Woman told the story of Mr. Chu’s family, a widowed father living with his 3 unmarried daughters.
The eldest, Jia-Jen, is a chemistry teacher who converted herself from Buddhism to Christianity, unmarried and always mourning her failed relationship back in college days. The second, Jia-Chien, is an airline executive, a modern woman who doesn’t like to be ___, always with her boyfriend and plan to move out, even to another country. And the youngest, Jia-Ning, is a naive, gullible student, working part-time at a fast-food store.
A former chef at a famous restaurant in Taiwan, Mr. Chu only knows how to express his love for his daughters through intricate Chinese dishes at Sunday dinners. This is also the way he uses to connect the family. But, he’s gradually losing his palate. And the generation differences in way of living is making the elaborate traditional dinners bland and disengaging when each person has their very own thought.
